Opt-out of Sharing and Selling
How Doorlight Sells Data
Doorlight sells information, as that term is defined under California law, in two ways:
- Sharing for advertising purposes. Doorlight shares information collected through cookies, pixels, and other tracking technologies with its advertising partners so it can advertise additional services to you.
- Sales to business partners for their own marketing. Doorlight sells information to its business partners so those partners can offer goods or services to you that you may be interested in.
Sharing for Advertising Purposes
Cookies are small snippets of text that are placed on your browser when you visit a website that allow the site's operator or a third party to recognize your device when you return. Pixels are very tiny images placed on website that allow the site's operator or a third party to track activity on the site.
The information collected from the tracking technologies on our websites may be used for interest-based advertising and California law may consider this type of sharing a sale.
